Passing of Urs Fankhauser, Member of the Board

Urs Fankhauser passed away on February 27, 2014 after a short and serious illness. He had been a member of the board of directors of Ems-Chemie Holding AG since August 2013.

With his death we lose a leader with enormous experience, valuable expertise and a profound knowledge of human nature.

Board of Directors, Senior Management and all employees of the EMS Group express their deepest dismay and sincere condolences to the family.

Active board member Dr Joachim Streu will assume the position of chairman of the compensation committee and the audit committee effective immediately.
