General Motors again awards EMS the title of ''Supplier of the Year''

For the fifth year in succession, and as the only Swiss company, EMS-CHEMIE received the ''GM Supplier of the Year'' award. With this coveted award, General Motors (GM) recognises its best suppliers throughout the world.

EMS-CHEMIE was honoured as ''Supplier of the Year'' for the fifth year in succession by General Motors (GM). The leading automotive manufacturer GM awards this title to suppliers who have provided an excellent worldwide performance throughout the previous year. On March 5, 2015, the award was presented personally to Magdalena Martullo, Delegate of the Board of Directors and main shareholder of the EMS Group, and Christian Morf, Vice President Sales/Marketing / EMS-GRIVORY, at an official presentation ceremony in Detroit (USA).

EMS is the only resin manufacturer to date to have received this award. In 2010 GM created the new award category "Raw Materials'' especially for EMS. At the award ceremony, GM praised not only its excellent longstanding business relationship with EMS, but emphasised above all the outstanding high-quality performance with regard to innovative technology, the permanent exchange of innovations and EMS’ rapid reaction time as development partner.

As this award holds a good reputation within the automotive industry, the title will be of great relevance as basis for future business development for EMS.
