Application Development Engineer – Industry & Consumer Group

Position located in USA.

To strengthen our team we have an opening for an Application Development Engineer in our Industry & Consumer Group.

In a team of specialists you will be responsible for the following: Project Leader for development of new applications. Providing technical support to customers with product selection, materials analysis, component design and manufacturing processes. Remain current with industry trends, technologies and opportunities for EMS. Participation in cross-departmental teams

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science or related field with at least 5 years experience in related industry
• Experience as Product Developer or Project Engineer of Engineering Plastics
• Experience of replacing metal with thermoplastics and Business Development
• Standard knowledge of injection molding polyamides
• Available to travel up to 60%.
• Proficient with MS word, Excel and Power Point
• Excellent verbally and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MS in Polymer Science, > 7 years experience
• Thorough knowledge of Polyamide applications, properties and processing.
• Skilled with Project Management principles and knowledge of Plastics manufacturers industry.
• Strong analytical and decision making skills 
• Think with creative approach to Application development.
• Demonstrated team-building, planning and organization skills
