Job Profile
Engineering
In our engineering department at in Domat/Ems you develop and build process technology and plant apparatus for the EMS Group. You work in close cooperation with the internal specialist departments such as production, workshops, research, environmental protection and safety and controlling as well as with external planners and installation companies.

Research & Development
Innovation is the prerequisite for the success of EMS. With the development of new products you provide the basis for continual renewal of EMS' portfolio of special products. In research & development you work together as chemist, physicist or engineer on the development and improvement of our products and processes. The goal of our development work is to achieve tailor-made products, whether customer-oriented product developments or long-term innovation projects.
Application development
As application specialist with expert knowledge in the market segments Automotive, Electro & Electronics, Industry & Consumer goods, Optics and Packaging, you support the development of new applications from the idea right up to serial production.
This includes:
- Support in the conceptual phase and checking of requirements
- Feasibility studies and economic analysis for new applications
- Recommendation of the optimal material and individual comparison tests
- Support with component and mould design
- Process optimisation and development of manufacturing and secondary processes
- Advice on component-specific tests and quality features
Production
In our production plants at Domat/Ems we manufacture high-performance polyamides and specialty chemicals for sale worldwide. This includes the production and packaging of several thousand different products.
