Changes in the principal shareholder structure of EMS-CHEMIE HOLDING AG

As announced on the occasion of the financial media conference of February 9, 2007, the following changes to the principal shareholder structure of the EMS Group take effect on February 19, 2007:

EMESTA HOLDING AG, Zug, previously majority shareholder of EMS-CHEMIE HOLDING AG (53.47%), now holds 11'895'356 registered shares of EMS-CHEMIE HOLDING AG, corresponding to a voting and capital share of 47.48%.

Miriam Blocher now directly and indirectly holds 1'969'000 registered shares of EMS-CHEMIE HOLDING AG, corresponding to a voting and capital share of 7.86%.
